House of Arsalan Iqbal

After graduating from the Oxford Brookes University in London in 2006 Arsalan Iqbal began experimenting with fashion design and embarked on his chosen oeuvre, initially using his apartment as a makeshift workshop.
In January 2011 Iqbal teamed up with fellow designer Yahseer Javed and launched the menswear label “Arsalan & Yahseer”. Soon after Iqbal ventured on his own with the introduction of his eponymous brand the “House of Arsalan Iqbal” which includes both menswear and women’s wear apparel and accessories.
The underlying design philosophy of the brand is to redefine age-old traditions and reinterpret and reintegrate them into a modern milieu, thus creating garments that are both highly practical yet on-trend; relaxed yet bold and always in sync with the zeitgeist. Supreme command on his garment construction skills; he is one of the top choices for mens clothing and already making waves with his women’s wear prêt and formals.
With an ongoing desire to render everyday apparel into vibrant eclecticism, Iqbal created the well-received ‘Rangeen’ menswear capsule of hand-painted and block-printed traditional eastern wear including kurtas and kurtis. Passionate for innovation, Iqbal was also the first Pakistani menswear designer to have made the fashion video popular, using the expert directorial skills of fashion photographer Fayyaz Ahmed.
The House of Arsalan Iqbal has two outlets on Tariq Road in Karachi and a large stand-alone flagship store on M.M. Alam Road, the tony designer district in Lahore. The brand is also stocked at myriad multi-brand stores in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and India. Apart from finely made in-house jewelry and accessories, the brand also retails eclectic eastern and western formal and casual footwear meticulously crafted from both fabric and leather at its stores.
